A Little More About Us
A few quick things about us
We’re Daniel and Leslie, the husband-and-wife team behind Argyle & Lace.
Photography has taken us down different paths over the years, but we’ve always cared about the same thing: helping people feel comfortable enough to be themselves in front of the camera.
Argyle & Lace is built on Daniel’s years of experience telling stories through photography. From weddings and portraits to events and headshots, he brings a documentary eye, calm direction, technical skill, and the ability to make people feel at ease even when the lighting, timeline, or nerves are less than perfect.
Leslie adds another layer of storytelling and care to the experience, from planning and communication to creative ideas, detail-spotting, and noticing the little moments that help a gallery feel more personal. Depending on the collection, schedule, and needs of the day, we may photograph together, or Daniel may lead the photography while Leslie helps shape the experience behind the scenes.
Either way, our approach stays the same: warm, intentional, and focused on creating images that feel like you.
We’re not here to make your photos look like everyone else’s. We want to know what matters to you, what feels natural, what you’re excited about, and what little details you never want to forget. We’ll guide you when you need direction, fix the tiny things you may not notice, and still leave room for the real moments to happen.
We love the polished portraits, the emotional candids, the quiet in-between glances, the proud parent moments, the windswept veil, the senior who finally relaxes and laughs, the business owner stepping into a new season, and the photo that makes you say, “That actually feels like me.”
At the end of the day, we want your images to feel beautiful, timeless, and personal - the kind you’ll print, frame, send to your grandmother, and still be glad you have years from now.
Life Behind the Cameras
Daniel photographed my daughter’s bridal portraits and wedding. He was wonderful to work with - organized, accommodating, quick to respond, creative, and talented. Any concern we voiced, he immediately had a solution. We highly recommend Daniel!

Daniel and Leslie are simply amazing; their dedication and passion for details is palpable! I was blessed to have them capture a very special live concert event and the photos were perfect!
Our changing light colors and animated backgrounds on stage could have been a real challenge, but it was all handled with immense ease!
Daniel also has the unique talent of being everywhere and invisible all at once. He knew how to capture every element of the show without disturbing the audience!

This was such an amazing experience. I was nervous because getting professional headshots was out of my comfort zone. Not only did Argyle & Lace put me immediately at ease, but the photos are also so amazing that it is hard to choose my favorite!!!
Daniel and Leslie did an amazing job on my headshots for work. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and considerate of what I was looking for/needing. I will definitely be using them again and would recommend to anyone!
