Weddings and Engagements
Congratulations on your engagement! Planning a big wedding? Small intimate ceremony? Elopement? Destination wedding? We would love for you to become an Argyle & Lace couple no matter which type of day you are planning. If you are looking for your wedding photographer, we want to chat with you and share our experience! We can meet up for coffee (or ice cream) or even just have a phone call if you prefer during the pandemic.
We are a husband and wife team (Daniel and Leslie) that relocated Daniel’s photography business to Alabama after we were married in 2019. We understand how stressful finding the right photographer can be because we had to choose ours from 2 states away without ever meeting them in person! (Meeting someone for the first time moments before they take photos of your intimate day doesn’t really help you relax in front of the camera, believe me.)
We want to make this easier for you and remove any doubt you may have about choosing your photographer. We understand it’s one of the most important investments you will make for your wedding because your photographer documents all of the details for you. Spending money on a fancy cake, gorgeous dress and flowers, or scenic venue doesn’t really matter as much if you end up with blurry photographs with bad lighting and horrible angles. You want someone who is going to capture all of those details and most importantly the love you share together in a way that speaks to you.
We make it our priority to get to know our couples because we believe this makes the best experience for all of us and results in the best images of your big day. We don’t want you to feel like you are just making a business transaction and we just show up on your wedding day to provide a service. We want you to feel like we are friends or even extended family that you are excited to have around and comfortable sharing those intimate moments with on your big day.
We want to know all of the details leading up to the wedding…how you met, funny stories, favorite foods, TV show obsessions, best date nights, why you are choosing certain flowers for your bouquet, what elements of your day have special meanings, etc… Why do we want to know all of this? Not only does it help you look more relaxed in your images because you are comfortable with us, but then we know what we can say to keep you calm before big moments or that will create big laughs or smiles just when we need them for your images.
We also learn what elements of your wedding are most important to you so we know we are capturing the best parts of your story that day. If we don’t know there is a hidden message on your bouquet or a special patch sewn into your dress, we aren’t going to know to capture those moments for you to cherish forever. Our goal is always to provide you with the images you need, to surprise you with images of the little in-between moments you don’t expect, and to make sure you have the best experience possible on your wedding day.
We limit the number of weddings we shoot each year so each couple gets more of our time leading up to your big day. We will help you create your perfect wedding timeline and get to know all about you before your wedding so you feel like we are extra members of your bridal party instead of just a service provider.

We make sure you have all of the best options to display and cherish your images. Included with most packages, you will receive a private online gallery for sharing, a customized USB drive, and a keepsake box with a selection of prints that best capture the story of your day. We also provide you with the option to add standard or luxury albums, canvases, fine art prints, and more.
We make ourselves available to you leading up to the wedding for questions and support. We also are there to support you on your wedding day by keeping up with your timeline, paying attention to all of the little details, and helping to solve issues that arise. We are there to keep you calm, keep things flowing, and encourage you to focus on the love surrounding you on your special day!

We include a free engagement session with every single wedding collection because we feel it benefits all of us! You get to experience a session with us prior to your wedding when things are calm. You will see how we work with you to capture the images you want through a series of poses, prompts, and in-between moments. This helps you feel comfortable with our methods on your wedding day. It also helps us learn which techniques work best for you. We strongly believe that you being relaxed and comfortable with us will help us create images that you will love!!
